Ruta de Pedra en Sec (Dry Stone Route) in Mallorca

Consell de Mallorca has inaugurated the Galatzó refuge with the assistance of several local authorities. This refuge is located in the Galatzó public estate, in the southern part of the Serra de Tramuntana, on the itinerary between Es Capdellà and Estellencs town villages.

 

The former pigsty building of this historical farmhouse has been refurbished and now offers 52 beds spread over 10 bedrooms, kitchen, dining-room and a large multifunctional space. These facilities are adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Thus, the Dry Stone Route now has 7 refuges  directly managed by Consell de Mallorca.
