On the occasion of Earth Day and The European Year of Skills as well as the celebration of the European Drywall Week organized by REPS, on the territory of Marjan Forest Park in the town of Split/Croatia, around 40 students participated in dry stone wall workshop.

In cooperation between the Public Institution for Management of Marjan Forest Park and the Dragodid Association and the Construction and Geodetic Technical School Split, students first heard lectures about the traditional construction of dry stone wall in Adriatic area, and then tried to reconstruct some of the drz stone walls. In the process they learned about the basics of drywall construction with expert guidance, aspects of tangible and intangible heritage, and also learned why this skill is important for maintaining biodiversity and the future of our planet.
